To anyone out there...

Today I checked in on my blog after ages and ages and decided that I shouldn't give up. I have made several makeup purchases since I last posted. I did buy the fluidline from MAC, hm... I can't remember what I have or haven't talked about... there was a CVS haul, some UD stuff from HauteLook a long time ago...I got a new moisturizer and toner (both drugstore). But since this was all so long ago I have decided to skip it. Unless of course you want to hear about this stuff. Well on Wednesday I'm leaving for Toulouse, France on a language trip with my school. I will most definitely be going to Yves Rocher and buying tonnnnnnnns of stuff. I'm really excited. Any bargain or just plain awesome makeup brands available only in France or Europe I should be aware of?

  1. hey...dont give up on your blog..it takes a really long time for people to start visiting it and knowing it's there. one way people find your blog is by google, if they were to type in a random key word that you happened to have on your site. So use key words as often as possible. Another way is by YOU commenting a lot on other popular blogs. When you comment, other followers of that blog will see your comment, and possibly click on your name. Also if you have facebook, encourage your friends to follow you.

  2. I second LCmakeup's comment. Also, hey! I'm following you now :)
I know it can feel discouraging not to hear comments from anyone. Don't worry though -- keep it up, before long that'll change!
I do recommend posting pictures with your reviews, that always seems to draw people in, and when they search images too, you've got more chance of being discovered! I'll link your blog in my next post.. hope it helps :) Drop by http://maquillage-maenad.blogspot.com/ some time and drop me a comment. DON'T GIVE UP! Post soon, I'll be watching... in the non-creepy way. hehe

  4. I got my Mocktails! Sweet smell... not as yummy as I'd hoped but oh well. Review will probably be up soon. Gave one to my mother and she loves it. But if you're in the market for a gloss with taste, look no further than CO Bigelow's mentha collection. They have a different collection each winter and summer and they are the sweetest glosses I've ever tried. :)

  5. ooh thanks. quite pricey though. today as a little pick-me-up (i was woken up faaar too early this morning) i grabbed one of those mega-cheap wet n wild glosses at cvs. i put it on when i got home. despite it's alluring hot pink tube color, it had absolutely zero pigmentation. shoulda known. oh well. i was low on clear gloss anyways. point is, it tastes as smells great. :)
