I bought this cool-looking Eyeko mascara in a squeezy tube but I returned it before I reviewed. YUCK! On sale for $4.99, I thought I would give it a try (my mascara is 3 months old now, but I love it, and it's expensive). I think I'm gonna try to pick up the Fairydrops mascara in China.
So this Eyeko mascara came in a silver, squishy, squeezy (I just made the typo squeexy and I thought I would share it with you) tube. It's got a cute little wand and promises to stimulate lash growth or something with Vitamin E Oil. I don't like it because it's clumpy (surprisingly so for a rather liquidy formula) and when I wash my face or do sports instead of melting off like I would expect, it comes off on my cheeks in little pieces. It flaked on me! AHAHAHAHAHA I'M FUNNY.
I like it cos it makes my lashes really shiny.
Its best use is the lower lashes.
It's normally $10. Try it out if you like. I found it at Urban Outfitters. I left it at Urban Outfitters.

PS When I returned it I didn't have a receipt but I got store cred. I used it on my graduation dress. xD
Yesterday when I was walking around the shops near my house I noticed Club Monaco was closing and everything in the whole store was on clearance and was half off. I walked in and fell in love with a pair of blue chinos. They're so cute for Spring! They were originally $119, but I snagged them for TEN! Today I went back to buy a pair in a pretty olive green. I mean, why not? On the way home I had to stop into Urban Outfitters because it's basically my home away from home, and as I was traveling last week, I had been separated for too long. I always head straight for sale or beauty. A lot of times there's stuff on sale in beauty. My rule or UO is never to buy anything full price unless it's ridiculously cheap already. For quite a while now I've been eying (eyeing? eye-ing?) the VitaminWater lip balms. The trouble is, they're $8. Lip balm to me isn't supposed to cost $8. When I saw those glorious orange stickies reading $1.99, I knew one of them had to be mine. There were several yellow, one orange, and one purple. All of them were opened or gross except for one yellow! My preference was actually purple because I'm not generally a fan of citrus-y lip balms. If your lips are raw or chapped sometimes the acidity of lemon or orange or grapefruit can sting! But you don't understand. These balms are gigantic, and with their jiggly jello-y appearance, I was not concerned by its name: "tropical citrus". In fact, I think I prefer it over anything grape-y now that I have smelt it! I just want to eat it!!! It smells completely overwhelmingly delicious. And just in case you were wondering, it has Vitamin E and an SPF20! It feels great on my lips and gives them a really nice shiny, glossy finish. It also brings out the pink pigmentation of my lips somehow...I don't know, they just look pinker. You know how the VitaminWaters are supposed to have special uses or powers or whatever? This one is called energy! On the side it reads:
"please note: this great smelling lip balm only looks like a bottle of nutrient enhanced vitaminwater. by no mean should you drink the lip balm...instead grab a bottle of vitaminwater and begin operating heavy machinery."
How cute is that? Because the Urban Outfitters website completely sucks, and I can't find a decent listing anywhere else, I don't have a link. Maybe I'll post a picture tomorrow. Seriously, I won't be losing this lip balm!
Seriously, the price wasn't the same on the site, and they didn't have either the lemon or grape flavors that were in the store. *facepalm*
Urban Outfitters is my favorite store though. :)
SALE WIN!

PS This is my third lip balm in less than a week. See my French Makeup Haul post.
I bought none of the stuff from my shopping list. I got a Wet n' Wild Liquid Liner (I'll do a post about that very very soon) instead of a MAC Blactrack Fluidline, I did get an angled brush from Urban Decay when I ordered the Ink for Eyes in Pyrotechnics on Hautelook, my mom bought me a Revlon Brow Fantasy kit at Walgreens (it's too light for me), and Christmas and the holidays passed, I'm on the lookout for Spring colors like the Glee collection or I totally want the Black Shatter top coat from the Serena Williams and Katy Perry collections! I just haven't figured out where to buy it...so I'm sorry I didn't buy anything...but oh well. I did buy a ton of stuff. I need to tell you all about the great things I bought without premeditation. At Urban Outfitters, they weref having this huge sale that included NYX pigments for $1.99 down from $6. I was excited, and bought one called Oro. It looks pretty bronzey-orangey in the container, but on skin it looks more gold. I tried a warm-toned look on my eyes and I found it looked amazing. I went back the next day and bought five more...hehe. I got Lagoon (a beautiful mermaid color), Sunny Day (hot magenta), Violet (dark purple-based blue), Golden Peach (it's golden peach...), and a Glitter on the Go in So Pretty (baby pink with sooo many iridescent sparkles, very finely milled). I am in love with them. There were one or two colors I didn't buy, I remember there was a dark green one I didn't like. I will probably swatch them and post a picture later! The other thing I bought was a set of Stila brushes!! I had been dying for some brushes, because the only one I had was that angled one. I found a set of FIVE Stila brushes on clearance for TEN BUCKS. Oh. My. God. Needless to say, I snatched them up. There's a powder brush, a lip brush, a concealer brush, an allover blending brush, and another brush that looks a lot like it. It was a holiday set with black handles and pink metal. They're so soft, I love them. Also, I bought a Jelly Pong Pong "Shadow Taffy" with an adorable bird on top of the enormous compact. I'm not sure it can even be called a compact. It's this weird consistency of shadow in bright pink and very shiny bronze. To me it looks like a blush/ bronzer duo. The bronze may be a bit too metallicy for bronzer but I may use it as a cream liner. The blush looks good! :) By the way, it was marked down from $24 to $6.99. Yayyy. In addition, I got a great sweater (soooo warm) for $10 and a Hello Kitty compact (dirty and scratched on the inside...) for $1.99. I also purchased a clearance Revlon mascara from CVS yesterday, but I think I'll be returning it today. It's just not needed. I'm going back to Urban Outiftters for the third day in a row today. They also had two Too Faced kits for $20 apiece but I decided against. I might show them to my friend. By the way, the UO website is horrible. All the prices are different in store and online. I told a cashier that NYX pigments were $2 online and that they were not marked down in the store, but that next time I should print out the page from the site so she wouldn't have to look it up themselves. Not happening. Waste of trees, waste of my time, and you're getting paid. No.
So, for Christmas my aunt gave me a $50 Urban Outfitters giftcard. :)
Since I have a UO around the corner, I've been back 3 times since I got the giftcard, and it's not even 2011 yet! They've been having a mega-sale. So far with the giftcard I have bought:
-Cargo Pro Picks Collection ($86 value, retail $39), $10. -Lip Gloss (no idea what brand, just a gloss, retail $8), $1 -Button-front skirt (retail $50), $5 -Suede Flats with a metallic bows (retail $40), $10 -NYX white eyeliner (not on sale), $3.50
So, since I can't tell you the brand of gloss, and this is a cosmetics blog, I'll just talk to you about the Cargo Pro Picks Collection and the NYX liner.
Cargo Pro Picks ___________
I am stoked about this kit (yes, stoked). It contains an eyeshadow quad with green, purple, blue, and white, along with my personal favorite mascara and lipgloss of the moment, plus a cool lipliner I will tell you about later.
Quad:
The quad is the most disappointing product. The shadows appear to be very pigmented, but on the eyelids, you really need to build up a lot of product for any real color. Just sort of a meh for me. Plus, green, purple, and blue aren't really my colors. And I have a lot of highlight colors, especially now with my Urban Decay shadow in Skimp. But the rest of the products are just so great, I don't care about this.
Mascara:
I got the blu-ray mascara. It is my favorite! The applicator looks like a comb, it is one sided. It is the best mascara I have ever owned, keep in mind, I have not owned too many, I'm bad at remembering to replace them. I'm so glad I got this kit too, because had I not, I would be stuck with my new UD Skyscraper mascara. :(
This lengthens, separates, defines, you name it. I love this product. On its own, I think it goes for about twice the price that I got the whole kit.
Lipgloss:
Simply the best gloss I have ever tried. A nice coral-y color with just enough shine and shimmer, but not sticky at all. It even comes with timestrip technology, a small strip you put in the cap of the gloss, which is marked with the numbers 1, 3, and 9. These are months. The strip will fill up as the gloss gets older. When it reaches the 9-month mark, Cargo recommends you replace it...well, of course they do. Best. Gloss. Ever. I would probably buy it again at retail price. I might check UO to see if they have another kit.
Lipliner:
This is called the reverse lipliner. I had too look it up to find out how to use it. It's a fair pencil you apply just outside your lipline and blend so that you dont have to darken your lipline, just lighten what's around it. An innovative, young approach to lipliner. However, I think it goes for around $17, so you might just use this trick with a cover stick you already have or something.
I love this kit so much that if I run out, I would probably buy it for retail price and gift the quad? Four full size Cargo products (discontinued at Sephora, still sells at ULTA) for not $86, not $39, but $10! Wow, I struck a bargain. <3
Oh, I forgot about the NYX pencil. It's not that creamy, but it won't smudge...it's a white liner, what do you want me to say...go buy it from NYX for four bucks if you want one.
